Sozzled Sausage

Having wine-logged myself at the book launch (see below) I went to the East India club with 4 friends and had a spot of dinner.

2 bottles of the house red (between 5) and the sausage and mash for me, the atmosphere was wonderful with a packed dinning room, it really did feel like a by-gone era in there with the candles, the decor, the smartly dressed people and the excellent food and service.

After dinner we retired upstairs to the ladies drawing room and digested a while before going our seperate ways. It was a very good end to a pleasant evening.
