Sunday brunch at the Cambridge Chop House. I like their scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and their eggs benedict, but this time decided to try the poached eggs on black pudding. They came perfectly cooked with a nice Hollandaise, but it was a struggle to finish so filling a meal. I alternated with toast and marmalade, buck’s fizz (mimosa), and Earl Grey tea. What a civilized way to spend a late Sunday morning. I am still fascinated by the chronophage in full view from the window.
