Another book launch, more canapés

This time I was at the English Speaking Union for the launch of Stephen Parkinson’s book Arena of Ambition – a History of the Cambridge Union. It was a jolly affair, with plenty of wine and some rather good canapés, of which I preferred the crab cakes, although the tarts with peppers and cream were very good, too. I bought a copy of the book, so there’s good reading ahead, too.
