Another barbecue

This was different, in that it was for 40 people.  Wow!  That’s 40 quarter pound hamburgers, 80 sausages of various types, plus an unbelievable number of buns, plus vegetable skewers.  Amazingly enough it all worked well, perhaps because of the Hardy’s Stamp Australian shiraz/cabernet and the South African chenin blanc/chardonnay blend.  Everyone seemed very happy, sitting around in groups on the grass, so we must have done something right….  Oh yes, and the food was very good, too.
