Porkinson sausages

Porkinson‘s sausages are marketed as the traditional British banger, and it turns out they’re fantastic. A good starting point is the use of high-quality outdoor-reared British pork, and to cram a lot of it into the sausages – 80%.
I picked up the Suffolk Ale and Herb variety and thoroughly enjoyed them with sweet potato mash and some green beans. The sausages themselves are incredibly tasty and stayed very moist, in part due to the high meat content. The ale and herbs added a great extra flavour – this is how sausages should be!
