I found a wine that appears to be without a year and without a grape. It leaves me wondering quite how they made it! It’s from South Africa and called First Cape ‘Cape White’. It’s 12.5% and pretty floral on the nose. The body is smooth, but not delicate; quite sharp, in fact, but in a good way. The finish is similar to that of a Chardonnay. You can find it at Tesco if you’re interested, but I wouldn’t give it a mark much higher than six out of ten myself.
