It’s another good Australian sparkler, which is made mostly from Chardonnay, but with a noticeable quantity of Pinot Noir, too. It’s the ‘reserve’ version, and 12%. For the sake of the lower price, it is, of course, non-vintage. The main experience that I get from the wine is a remarkably cocoa-like lightness. It’s very smooth and easy to drink, and also on offer at Tesco at the moment, so if you fancy something of decent, Champagne-like quality without the hefty price-tag, get on down to your nearest and pick up a few!
