Microwave chocolate cake

I fancied a quick dessert, but all I had was cherry yoghurt. The obvious solution was, therefore, the Internet!

The concept of a microwaveable chocolate pudding/cake has been floating around the blogosphere for a while, and is proving popular in all quarters. This version, however, is slightly different: it’s eggless.

Into a mug went a tablespoon and a half of flour, a tablespoon of milk, a tablespoon of butter, half a tablespoon of sugar, a quarter of a tablespoon of milk, and a tablespoon of cocoa powder. I combined it with a fork, but the result mix was a heavy paste – I added more milk to make a more liquid mixture.

It microwaved for a minute, and the result? Surprisingly good! A little dry, but not overly so; bitter, the way I like it. It might need more cocoa powder in the future, though.
