Crumble at the Maypole

We had eaten at a Thai restaurant, but wanted a more Western dessert.  The solution was to be found at the Maypole, a Cambridge pub that serves really tasty Italian food with a few other dishes.  Earlier we’d spotted apple crumble among the day’s specials, so we ordered one each.  It was deliciously sweet and chewy, as a good crumble should be, and helped complete the meal we’d just enjoyed.
