One course lunch
Posted On March 20, 2011

I met a friend at the station and we decided to lunch at one of the restaurants on Bridge Street. First stop was Cote, and the lunchtime special menu looked so attractive that we went in and they found us a table. I had the mushroom crépes, which were baked crépes with mushrooms, spinach and gruyère cheese. They were wholemeal crépes, too, to my pleasant surprise, and came with a lovely creamy sauce.

My friend had what looked like half a Bréton chicken from their lunchtime specials. It came with Dauphinoise potatoes. We kept it down to a single course each, and drank the house Lagarde white wine with them.
