Fish, Chips and Pies at the revamped Architect in Cambridge
Posted On September 16, 2017
The Architect pub in Cambridge has been taken over by the owners of the award-winning Blue Lion of Hardwick and given a complete make-over. It’s now a gastro pub specializing in fresh fish and homemade pies. Everything is fresh every day.
I started with a sharing board featuring popcorn crayfish with cajun remoulade, rabbit and black pudding sausage roll, pork scratchings with apple and grain mustard sauce, and a classic Scotch egg with English mustard sauce. Then I had the Architect’s fish pie topped with aged cheddar mash. Excellent food and great value. I can’t wait to get back and try the rest of their menu…
