Lunar New Year Dinner at Canton Element, Holborn

The Canton Element in Holborn is a small restaurant owned by Hong Konger’s, a lot of their business comes from takeaway trade. To celebrate the year of the Tiger we booked a table in advance, lucky as it was a full restaurant. We opted for Dim Sum, Salt & Pepper Squid, Sweet & Sour Chicken & Spicy King Prawns all of which were absolutely divine. It wasn’t our first time at this restaurant and although it’s a short way from the very central areas of London, the quality of food, authenticity & price really do make it worth a visit. They do a £12.99 2 course deal most evenings.
