Chicken & Bacon Pie in The Engineer, Primrose Hill

The Primrose Hill area has many good pubs and we decided to try The Engineer, it was busy, a good sign for a Wednesday night but they managed to squeeze us in. It’s a good quality gastro pub with a good menu with a handful of main courses. The Chicken, Bacon & Brie pie with roasted vegetables & mash potato immediately stuck out to me and it was everything I’d hoped, served with a lovely thick gravy. On the table we also had Fish & Chips, served as a good sized piece of Cod with a light batter. A perfect weekday dinner after work. I would certainly recommend The Engineer, they have a lovely courtyard at the back which I imagine would be lovely in the summer too.
