Yes – I ate sheep’s balls. Finely sliced, crumbed and fried. They were very tender, melt in the mouth but not full of flavour. After eating a whole plate they’d become rather bland. Perhaps they could have done with a side salad or something to jazz up the flavours and mix things up a bit.

Nevertheless, the testicle box has been ticked and there is no real need to go back and revisit it.
