One answer is not to eat too many breakfasts on Delta Airlines. It began with champagne and nuts, which is harmless enough.
Then the first course came: croissant and herb butter, tuna carpaccio with rye bread, fresh fruit plate and yoghurt with strawberry and muesli.
Then came the main course of pancakes with maple syrup, pork sausages, pineapple pieces and mixed nuts.
Finally came the cheese plate with sweet chutney and a glass of pinot noir. Phew! If you had breakfasts like this every day, you might well put on weight even if you skipped lunch and dinner…
